Permanent Laser Hair Removal

No More Shaving or Waxing!

Permanent laser hair removal can save time and effort in the long run. You won’t need to shave or wax regularly, and you can be hair-free in treated areas, simplifying your daily grooming routine.

Laser hair removal can selectively target dark, coarse hairs while leaving surrounding skin undamaged. This precision reduces the risk of ingrown hairs and irritation, which are common with other hair removal methods.

Laser hair removal reduces the risk of developing ingrown hairs, a common problem associated with shaving and waxing. This primarily benefits those prone to ingrown hairs and related skin problems.

How Does It Work?

The laser targets the hair follicle just below the skin. When the follicle absorbs the heat from the laser, it gets damaged and stops growing. Because the laser only focuses on the melanin in the hair follicle, there is no long-term harm to the surrounding tissue.

  • Is there anything I should avoid before my treatment?
Do not use any tanning products (including tanning beds). If you already have a darker skin tone, use a whitening ointment for two to four weeks beforehand.
  • How long will it take?
Depending on the size of the area you want to be treated, you can expect the treatment to take anywhere from five to thirty minutes. For example, hair removal on the upper lip will take less time than hair removal on the back.
  • How should I prepare for my treatment?
Shave the area you want to be treated two to three days before the procedure if you are especially sensitive to pain. It may be a good idea to apply a topical numbing cream just before your appointment.
  • Will I need to do this more than once?
Because hair growth occurs in cycles, you’ll need a few sessions to ensure the best results. It’s recommended you get about five sessions over six to eight weeks.
  • Is there anything specific I need to do after my treatment?
You should avoid direct sunlight for about one week to prevent skin discoloration. It’s also recommended that you apply sunscreen on the treated area. Showers are suggested instead of baths or saunas for the time immediately following your treatment. If any red “dots” or swelling lasts more than seven days, consult a medical professional.
